Responsibilities
Leverage cloud technology and platform capabilities to provide operationally sustainable solutions
Provide regular updates and recommendations to EA on health and performance of production systems
Implement monitoring, alerting, scale-up / scale-down strategies based on various utilization metrics
Identify single points of failure and other high-risk architecture issues; propose and implement more resilient resolutions
Develop and maintain cloud architecture blueprints and documentation to ensure consistency and alignment with industry best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, operations, security, and business stakeholders, to ensure seamless integration of cloud-based systems.
Provide expert advice to project teams on use of integration technology, data architecture and modeling, system architecture including integration best practices
Oversee critical steps within the Software Development Life Cycle components that impact enterprise wide development / architecture standards
Ensures data privacy across all cloud platforms
Provides guidance and leadership on designing performance solutions within a cloud platform
Provides reasoned opinions about the cloud platforms design
Provides cost-productive solutions
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members and ensure adherence to architecture principles and standards.
Continuously monitor and evaluate emerging cloud technologies and services to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
Responding to production incidents and determining how we can prevent them in the future
Developing and maintaining technical documentation, runbooks, and procedures
Participate in release cycles &, integrating with continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) tools, monitoring, and change management
