The Role

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer who is passionate about Infrastructure as Code (IaC), cloud native technologies, and modern AI toolchains. In this role, you won't just keep the lights on; you will architect scalable, cost-efficient, and secure cloud environments, while actively implementing AI assistants and AIOps tools to accelerate our deployment velocity and predictive monitoring capabilities.

What You’ll Work On

- AI-Augmented Operations: Leverage generative AI and AIOps tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q Developer, or AI-driven security scanners) to accelerate code reviews, write resilient IaC, and generate automated response playbooks.
- Infrastructure as Code: Architect, scale, and maintain our multi-environment infrastructure using Terraform, ensuring strict adherence to GitOps and policy-as-code paradigms.
- Predictive Observability: Build and manage full-stack observability pipelines (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry), incorporating machine learning and anomaly detection to identify and address bottlenecks before they impact users.
- Smarter CI/CD & Security (DevSecOps):



Design, optimize, and secure automated delivery pipelines. Integrate automated vulnerability scanning, secrets management (e.g., HashiCorp Vault), and compliance checks directly into developer workflows.
- Cloud & Workload Optimization: Lead FinOps and resource optimization initiatives to dynamically right-size Kubernetes and cloud-native workloads, balancing maximum performance with extreme cost efficiency.
- Collaboration: Act as a force-multiplier for the development team, standardizing developer platforms and ensuring local and cloud development environments are consistent and reliable.

What You'll Need for This Role
- Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering roles.
- Public Cloud: Advanced expertise in AWS (core services, multi-account structures, networking, and high availability).
- Containerization: Strong production experience with Docker and Kubernetes cluster management (EKS, Helm, and ingress controllers).
- Infrastructure as Code: Mastery of Terraform (modular structure, state management, and best practices).
- Scripting & Automation: High proficiency in Python (preferred)



and Bash for advanced automation and tooling tasks.
- Up-to-date CI/CD: Hands-on experience building pipelines with tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
- Modern Tooling Mindset: Proven curiosity or hands-on experience utilizing AI coding assistants and AIOps platforms to optimize internal workflows and system stability.
- Networking & Security Fundamentals: solid understanding of VPC design, routing, security groups, IAM, and secrets management.
