Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly, weekly, and daily plans based on forecasts, orders, inventory norms, and capacity.
- Align production plans with demand forecasts and business objectives.
- Balance production capacity, raw material availability, and market requirements.
- Review and revise plans to meet demand fluctuations and operational challenges.
- Develop detailed schedules for manufacturing lines.
- Ensure optimum machine utilization and labour productivity.
- Sequence orders to minimize setup/changeover time.
- Monitor adherence to schedules and take corrective actions.
- Analyse plant capacity and identify bottlenecks.
- Coordinate with manufacturing teams to improve throughput and resource utilisation.
- Recommend capacity enhancement initiatives and production balancing opportunities.
- Communicate production commitments and delivery timelines to stakeholders.
- Work with Procurement and Warehouse teams for timely material availability.
- Monitor shortages and develop mitigation plans.
- Maintain inventory levels within approved norms.
- Ensure adherence to GMP, SOPs, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain planning master data in ERP systems.
- Ensure accuracy of BOMs, production versions, routings, and planning parameters.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors in Supply Chain, Operations, Pharmacy, or related field.
- MBA/PGDM in Operations or Supply Chain preferred.
