About the Company

We are an established international accounting and business services company with operations in Singapore and Chennai.

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Senior Manager Accounting & Operations to oversee our Chennai operations and coordinate closely with our Singapore office.

This is a hands-on management role for someone who can take ownership of people, workflow, quality and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and supervise the Chennai operations team.
Receive and coordinate assignments from the Singapore office.
Allocate work to team members and monitor progress.
Maintain proper tracking of work received, assigned, completed and pending
Ensure assignments are completed accurately and within deadlines.
Review accounting and business-service work before final submission.
Coordinate closely with management on priorities,



deadlines and outstanding matters.
Follow up with team members and ensure timely completion of assignments.
Handle and supervise accounting, compliance and taxation-related assignments.
Prepare regular reports on workload, productivity, pending work and team performance.
Identify operational issues and recommend improvements.
Develop and maintain efficient processes and standard operating procedures.
Support recruitment, training and development of the team as the operation grows.
Take increasing responsibility for the overall Chennai operations.

Candidate Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration or a related field.
5–10 years of relevant qualified experience.
Experience in accounting firms, audit firms, BPO, outsourcing, corporate services or professional services is preferred.
