Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated Assistant System Administrator to support the IT infrastructure, systems, networks, and day-to-day technical operations of the organization. The candidate will assist in maintaining computers, servers, networks, software, and IT security while providing technical support to employees.

Key Responsibilities
Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computers, laptops, servers, printers, and other IT equipment.
Monitor and maintain Windows/Linux operating systems and troubleshoot system-related issues.
Provide hardware and software support to employees.
Troubleshoot network connectivity, LAN/Wi-Fi, printer, and peripheral issues.
Assist in managing user accounts, access permissions, passwords, and email accounts.
Perform regular system updates, patches, antivirus checks, and backups.




Monitor server and network performance and report issues to the System Administrator.
Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation.
Assist with data backup, recovery, and basic security procedures.
Install and configure software and ensure proper licensing.
Coordinate with vendors for hardware, software, networking, and maintenance requirements.
Maintain records of IT incidents, service requests, and resolutions.
Ensure IT systems follow organizational security and operational policies.
Provide technical assistance during meetings, events, and other organizational activities.

Required Skills
Valuable knowledge of Windows operating systems and basic Linux.
Basic understanding of Networking – TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Wi-Fi.
Knowledge of computer hardware, peripherals, and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with Active Directory and user management.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365 / Office applicati
