Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Android HMI Developer with strong experience in Automotive HMI / IVI systems to develop high-performance, visually rich applications for Android Automotive OS (AAOS).

The role involves working on next-generation digital cockpit and infotainment systems, including advanced UI animations, 3D visualization, real-time graphics, vehicle signal integration, and system-level integration with automotive platforms and Tier-1 ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain Android Automotive OS (AAOS) applications for IVI systems.
- Build high-quality and responsive Automotive HMI applications from UI/UX designs.
- Implement advanced animations, transitions, motion effects, and interactive UI components.
- Integrate 3D models, real-time graphics, and visual elements into HMI applications.
- Work with OpenGL, Vulkan, and other graphics/rendering technologies.
- Integrate automotive middleware, third-party SDKs, APIs, and platform services.
- Interface with vehicle signals, CAN data, and vehicle/system services.
- Collaborate with Android Framework, BSP, embedded, and Tier-1 automotive teams.
- Optimize applications for performance, memory utilization, responsiveness, and embedded hardware constraints.
- Troubleshoot application, integration, graphics, and system-level issues.
- Participate in architecture discussions, technical design, and code reviews.
- Work closely with UI/UX, system engineering, embedded,



and automotive stakeholders.

Required Skills

- 6 to 10 years of software development experience with significant exposure to Automotive HMI / IVI.
- Strong hands-on experience in Android application development.
- Strong experience with Android Automotive OS (AAOS).
- Experience in Automotive HMI, IVI, infotainment, or digital cockpit projects.
- Strong understanding of UI/UX implementation, animations, and responsive interfaces.
- Hands-on experience with OpenGL / Vulkan / Graphics / Rendering.
- Exposure to 3D visualization and real-time graphics.
- Experience integrating automotive middleware, SDKs, APIs, and platform services.
- Understanding of CAN signals, vehicle data, and automotive system interfaces.
- Valuable knowledge of application performance optimization and memory management.
- Experience working with BSP, Android Framework, and Tier-1 automotive teams.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have

- Unity / Unreal Engine integration experience.
- Digital cockpit / next-generation infotainment experience.
- Automotive middleware and Vehicle Abstraction Layer experience.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Knowledge of automotive HMI, safety, and driver-distraction guidelines.
- Experience with system-level automotive integration.
