Role & responsibilities
Develop control and protection schematics for panels, synchronizing panels and MV/LV switchgear.
Develop Block Logic Diagrams for MV and LV switchgear based on project-specific requirements.
Prepare and monitor the engineering schedule in line with the agreed project document deliverables.
Coordinate with customers to finalize design philosophies, resolve technical issues and incorporate project requirements.
Support testing and commissioning activities and resolve engineering-related technical issues.
Contribute to pre-bid engineering, proposals and technical documentation where required.
Verify engineering designs and deliverables against applicable standards and project requirements.
Prepare accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and support variation management and contract compliance.
Coordinate with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Testing, Commissioning and Service teams to ensure timely project execution.
Support risk assessments and identify prospects for engineering and process improvements.
Ensure all engineering deliverables are completed, reviewed and updated for successful project closure.
Ensure adherence to safety, quality, compliance, cybersecurity, cost and schedule requirements throughout project execution.
Preferred candidate profile
BE/B.Tech in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
58 years of relevant experience in Electrical Project Engineering / Electrical Design Engineering.
Experience working on 2–4 large-scale projects in the Power, Water or Oil & Gas sectors.
Solid experience in electrical basic and detail engineering.
Hands-on experience in SLD preparation and electrical design calculations.
Experience with MV/LV Switchgear, AIS/GIS, Transformers, VFD, UPS, Battery and DG systems.
Experience in Onshore/Offshore E-House projects will be preferred.
Exposure to Pre-Bid Engineering, Bid & Proposal activities will be an added advantage.
