Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
Handle day-to-day electrical maintenance activities in the manufacturing/production plant.
Monitor and maintain electrical equipment, panels, motors, transformers, MCC/PCC and other plant electrical systems.
Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment.
Troubleshoot electrical faults and ensure minimum equipment downtime.
Monitor HT/LT systems, power distribution and plant utilities.
Coordinate with production and maintenance teams for smooth plant operations.
Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints and Single Line Diagrams (SLD).
Ensure proper functioning of electrical panels, VFDs, PLC-related systems and motors.
Maintain maintenance records, reports and documentation.
Follow all electrical safety procedures and company safety standards.
Coordinate with external vendors/contractors whenever required.
Support continuous improvement and energy-efficiency initiatives within the plant.
Required Skills:
Solid knowledge of industrial electrical maintenance.
Experience in manufacturing/production/plant environment.
Hands-on knowledge of HT/LT, MCC, PCC, VFD, PLC, transformers, DG sets and motors.
Ability to understand electrical drawings, blueprints and SLDs.
Positive troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of preventive and breakdown maintenance.
Robust focus on safety and plant discipline.
Qualification
B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering with minimum 2 years of relevant experience
OR:
Diploma in Electrical Engineering with minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
