Role & responsibilities

Quality Engineer InProcess Quality (Assembly and Molding process) is responsible for ensuring product and process quality at various stages of manufacturing. The role involves process verification, setup approval, defect monitoring, documentation control, and support for continuous improvement initiatives to achieve zerodefect delivery.

Preferred candidate profile
- Perform inprocess inspections as per Control Plan and Work Instructions.
- Verify setup approval before start of production (firstoff, Patrolling and Last off approval).
- Perform Statistical Process Control (SPC) monitoring on all critical parameters as per the Control Plan.
- Conduct Layout Inspection for all major, minor, and critical dimensions as per drawing and customer requirements.
- Conduct daily pokayoke verification to ensure errorproofing devices are functioning.
- Monitor daily inprocess rejection, scrap and rework monitoring.
- Analysis of non-compliant parts and verify root causes
- Responsible for containment action
- Raise Quality Alerts (QAlert)



for inhouse or customer concerns and ensure team awareness.
- Ensure operators awareness and adherence to Control Plans and Work Instructions.

Key Skills & Competencies
- knowledge of InProcess Quality, Control Plan, SOPs
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, tolerances, and symbols.
- Valuable understanding of GD&T;, drawing reading, dimensional verification
- Basic understanding of moulding processes, defects, and parameter and inspection.
- Knowledge of pokayoke systems, setup approval process
- Proficient in using measuring instruments like Vernier, Micrometer, etc.
- Proficiency in QC tools, 5 Why, Ishikawa, CAPA
- Good communication, documentation, and analytical skills
- Basic Knowledge of IATF:16949 requirements and quality system.
- Ability to work with crossfunctional teams
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Willing to learn new methodology, and open for new technology
