Role & responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day DOT and FMCSA compliance requirements.

- Monitor and review driver logbooks / ELD records for HOS compliance.

- Follow up on HOS violations, log violations, and other safety-related issues.

- Maintain and verify driver qualification files (DQF) and driver documents.

- Ensure driver licenses, medical cards, MVRs, training records, and other required documents are up to date.

- Maintain and monitor truck and trailer documentation, including registrations, inspections, permits, and other compliance documents.

- Coordinate and follow up on truck breakdowns and roadside issues with drivers, mechanics, vendors, and management.

- Track preventive maintenance and inspection-related issues and ensure timely follow-up.

- Monitor roadside inspections, violations, citations, and corrective actions.

- Assist with DOT audits and compliance reviews.

- Communicate with drivers regarding safety policies, violations, documentation, and compliance requirements.

- Maintain accurate safety records and prepare regular safety/compliance reports.

- Identify potential safety risks and take appropriate corrective action.

- Coordinate with operations, maintenance, and management to resolve safety and compliance issues.





- Ensure company safety policies are properly communicated and followed by drivers.

Required Qualifications

- Previous experience in U.S. trucking safety, DOT compliance, or fleet safety.

- Strong knowledge of FMCSA/DOT regulations and Hours of Service (HOS).

- Experience working with ELD/logbook systems.

- Experience managing driver and truck documentation.

- Ability to handle breakdowns and coordinate repairs with drivers and vendors.

- Robust organizational and follow-up skills.

- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple issues simultaneously.

- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Hindi fluency is preferred/required for effective communication with drivers.

- Comfortable communicating with drivers, mechanics, customers, and management.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with fleet management or trucking software such as Samsara or similar systems.

- Knowledge of DOT inspections, CSA scores, and FMCSA compliance.

- Experience handling roadside inspections and violations.

- Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills.

- Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

- Flexible with working hours when urgent breakdowns or safety issues occur.
