Role & responsibilities The QA Engineer is responsible for ensuring that aerospace components meet quality standards and customer requirements. The role includes inspection, documentation, process monitoring, and quality improvement activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Strategy &
- Testing:

Design comprehensive test plans, risk-based testing frameworks, and quality metrics.

- Process Control: Implement statistical process controls (SPC) and failure analysis tools like FMEA.

- Root-Cause Analysis: Investigate production or software defects and drive corrective actions (CAPA).

- Auditing &

- Compliance:

Maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS) and lead internal or supplier audits.

- Collaboration &

- Mentorship:

Guide cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers

1. Inspection &
- Quality Control

- Perform in-process and final inspection of components

- Verify dimensions using measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, CMM)

- Ensure product meets drawing and GD&T; requirements

1. Documentation &
- Quality Records

- Prepare inspection reports





- Maintain quality documents and records

- Handle First Article Inspection (FAI) documentation

1. Quality System Compliance

- Follow AS9100 / ISO 9001 quality standards

- Support internal and external audits

- Ensure compliance with aerospace standards

1. Root Cause Analysis

- Identify quality issues

- Perform root cause analysis

- Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)

1. Process Improvement

- Monitor production quality

- Suggest improvements to reduce defects

- Support continuous improvement activities

Skills Required

- Solid knowledge of GD&T;

- Knowledge of measuring instruments

- Knowledge of CMM inspection

- Knowledge of aerospace quality standards

- Good documentation skills

Preferred Skills (Aerospace Industry)

Preferred candidate profile

- Experience with AS9100,NATCAP

- Experience in aerospace machining industry

- Knowledge of FAI, PPAP, CAPA
