Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Project Manager / Project Engineer to manage the execution of Fire Alarm and Public Address (PA) System projects at the Reliance Jamnagar Residential Colony.

The candidate should have a strong technical background in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, along with proven experience in project planning, execution, team management, client coordination, and project documentation.

Educational Qualification

- B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electronics & Communication Engineering
- Candidates with relevant experience in ELV system project management will be preferred.

Experience
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in Fire Alarm, PA/PAGA, or ELV system projects.
- Experience in handling large-scale industrial, commercial, township, or residential projects will be preferred.
- Experience in independently managing project execution and site teams.

Key Responsibilities Project Planning & Execution
- Plan, coordinate, and manage the complete execution of Fire Alarm and PA System projects.
- Prepare project execution schedules and ensure timely completion of activities.
- Monitor daily site activities, manpower deployment, and material requirements.
- Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, BOQ, and project standards.

Technical Coordination
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, PMC, civil contractors, electrical contractors, and other agencies.
- Review drawings, cable routing, equipment locations, installation requirements, and technical specifications.
- Resolve site-related technical and execution issues.

Team Management
- Manage site engineers, supervisors, technicians, and subcontractors.
- Allocate work and monitor daily progress.
- Conduct regular site meetings and ensure adherence to project schedules.

Material & Resource Management




- Prepare and monitor material requirements as per project progress.
- Coordinate with the procurement and logistics team for timely material availability.
- Ensure proper material handling, storage, and utilization at the site.

Quality & Documentation
- Ensure installation and testing activities comply with approved quality standards and project specifications.
- Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Coordinate for inspection requests, testing, commissioning, and project handover.
- Maintain proper documentation, including drawings, test reports, snag lists, and handover documents.

Client & Management Coordination
- Attend project review meetings with Reliance and other stakeholders.
- Provide regular project progress updates to management.
- Highlight potential delays, technical issues, and resource requirements in advance.
- Ensure timely closure of punch points and successful project handover.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Fire Alarm Systems, Addressable Fire Alarm Panels, Detectors, MCPs, Modules, Sounders, and related field devices.
- Good understanding of PA / Voice Evacuation Systems, speakers, amplifiers, controllers, cabling, and networking.
- Experience with brands such as Honeywell, Notifier, ESSER, Bosch, Siemens, Simplex, or equivalent will be an advantage.
- Ability to read and understand AutoCAD drawings, layouts, schematics, and BOQs.
- Robust project planning and problem-solving skills.
- Good leadership and manpower management abilities.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Knowledge of MS Office, Excel, and project reporting.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Electrical / Electronics Engineering background.
- Proven experience in Fire Alarm and PA System project management.
- Experience in handling large and technically complex projects.
- Ability to independently manage site execution and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
- Willingness to work at Reliance Jamnagar Residential Colony on a full-time project basis.
