Job Summary

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring the secure, efficient, and accurate receipt, storage, handling, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods. The role involves managing warehouse staff, maintaining inventory accuracy, optimizing warehouse space, ensuring compliance with safety procedures, and coordinating with procurement, sales, logistics, and other departments.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise all daily warehouse operations.
- Plan and coordinate receiving, unloading, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch activities.
- Ensure goods are properly received, inspected, labeled, stored, and recorded.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock counts and physical inventory checks.
- Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies, damages, shortages, and excess inventory.
- Optimize warehouse space, storage locations, and material movement.
- Supervise, train, and evaluate warehouse staff.
- Prepare staff schedules and allocate daily duties effectively.




- Monitor employee productivity and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Coordinate with purchasing, sales, production, accounts, and transport teams to ensure smooth material flow.
- Ensure timely preparation and dispatch of customer and internal orders.
- Maintain proper documentation for receipts, issues, transfers, returns, and dispatches.
- Use warehouse management systems, ERP software, or inventory management systems to maintain accurate records.
- Ensure warehouse equipment, racks, forklifts, and other material-handling equipment are used safely and maintained properly.
- Implement and monitor workplace health and safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure warehouse environment.
