Key Responsibilities
- Monitor the network using NOC/NMS tools.
- Monitor network alarms and identify issues.
- Perform basic network troubleshooting.
- Work on Routing, Switching, MPLS, WAN, VPN, IP, OTN, SDH and DWDM .
- Create and update incident tickets.
- Escalate issues to L2/L3 teams when required.
- Coordinate with field engineers and vendors.
- Maintain shift reports and handover details.
- Ensure issues are resolved within the defined SLA.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of TCP/IP, Routing Switching, MPLS and WAN .
- Basic understanding of OTN/SDH/DWDM .
- Knowledge of NMS/EMS monitoring tools .
- Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Valuable English communication is mandatory.
- Willingness to work in 24 7 rotational shifts .
- CCNA/JNCIA/N+ certification is an added advantage.
