Role Title - Software Engineer

The role is part of the One Ops team within the COO organisation, contributing to the delivery and support of technology solutions that enable operational processes and business outcomes. The team works closely with engineers, product owners, architects and business stakeholders to build secure, scalable and reliable applications and services.
Impact and Contributions
Contribute to the design,
development and delivery of high-quality software solutions across the One Ops platform. Apply sound engineering practices to build reliable and maintainable applications, resolve technical issues, improve existing services and support continuous improvement across the engineering lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test and maintain applications and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build and integrate event-driven solutions using Kafka.
- Develop and support cloud-based applications and services on AWS.
- Translate business and technical requirements into scalable and maintainable software solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, troubleshooting and defect resolution.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments using GitHub Actions.
- Apply DevSecOps principles and security practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
