The Role

We re looking for a Writer/Editor to shape how Medblocks explains itself, across blog posts, articles, course content, and case studies. Much of the work is turning technical material, a rough draft or an engineer s notes, into something clear and worth reading, and editing others writing to a consistent standard. You don t need to code, but you do need to understand what you re writing about. If you write clearly, edit with judgment, and want your work to help people learn, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities
- Write clear, engaging blog posts and articles that explain what we build and why it matters
- Turn technical source material, rough drafts, engineers notes, or a walkthrough, into narrative case studies and articles people actually want to read
- Create and shape course and lesson content for our learning material
- Edit and sharpen other people s writing to a consistent voice and standard
- Learn the concepts you write about well enough to explain them simply,



with the team and tools like Claude Code to help you get up to speed
- Help keep a consistent voice and quality bar across Medblocks content

Requirements Must have
- A body of writing you can show us, whether that s published articles, a blog, course material, or documentation
- Strong editing skills: the judgment to know what to change in someone else s draft and what to leave alone
- The ability to understand technical concepts and explain them clearly to a non-expert (you don t need to code)
- Excellent written and spoken English, and the instinct to simplify complex topics
- Curiosity, care for quality, and a genuine interest in learning the technical side

Nice to have
- Experience writing for a technical or developer audience
- Familiarity with healthcare, health tech, or standards like FHIR and openEHR
- Comfort with AI writing tools and a sense of where they help and where they don t
