Role Description The Performance Analyst internship at Essentiate Digital is a hybrid role based in Chennai, with a mix of in-office collaboration and work-from-home flexibility. Interns will support the performance marketing and analytics teams by tracking campaign outcomes, analyzing digital channels, and preparing performance reports and dashboards.

Day-to-day work includes gathering and cleaning data from multiple platforms, identifying trends and opportunities, and contributing insights to improve strategy, targeting, and conversion. The role also involves coordinating with cross-functional teams to translate performance findings into clear recommendations, documenting processes, and supporting experiments and A/B tests.



Interns are expected to stay curious about digital marketing trends, learn new analytical tools, and communicate results clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Performance Analysis and Data Analytics skills, with the ability to interpret metrics and derive actionable insights.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills, including problem-solving, quantitative reasoning, and comfort working with datasets and dashboards.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including explicit written and verbal reporting and the ability to present findings to diverse teams.
- Candidates should possess foundational Finance and business understanding to relate performance metrics to revenue, ROI, and unit economics.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with tools such as Excel/Google Sheets, basic BI or analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Data Studio, or similar), and an interest in marketing technology.
- Enrollment in or completion of a bachelor’s program in business, economics, engineering, statistics, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work in a hybrid setup in Chennai, manage time effectively, and collaborate respectfully within a diverse team environment.
- Curiosity about digital strategy, performance marketing, and AI-driven optimization, with a willingness to learn and experiment.
