Role Description The Oracle Cloud Functional Tester will be responsible for planning, designing, and executing functional tests for Oracle Cloud applications to ensure quality, reliability, and alignment with business requirements. This role includes analyzing functional specifications, creating test cases and test scripts, performing end-to-end and regression testing, and documenting defects with clear, actionable detail.

The tester will collaborate closely with business analysts, developers, and project managers to validate solutions, support user acceptance testing, and contribute to continuous improvement of testing practices. This is a full time remote role that requires proactive communication, strong analytical skills,



and the ability to work effectively in distributed teams.

Qualifications

- Ability to design and execute functional, integration, and regression tests for Oracle Cloud modules, including creating detailed test scenarios and scripts.
- Experience analyzing business requirements and functional specifications to ensure comprehensive test coverage and traceability.
- Proficiency in documenting defects, tracking issues to resolution, and providing clear, structured feedback to technical and business stakeholders.
- Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, HP ALM, or similar platforms) and standard testing methodologies.
- Strong understanding of Oracle Cloud workflows and configurations in at least one domain (such as Finance, Supply Chain, or HCM) is highly beneficial.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across remote and cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple testing activities within project timelines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in enterprise software testing or consulting environments, especially within digital transformation projects, is a plus.
