Role : MS SQL DBA

Experience: 8 to 10 Years

Location : Kolkata, Bangalore, Chennai

Must-Have:

- 4+ years of strong experience as a Seniors/Lead SQL Server DBA in a production(Cluster & Standalone) environment.
- Good knowledge of SQL Server 2012, 2014, 2016, 2017, and 2019 versions.
- Good understanding of Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server instances on-premises.
- Design, develop, and maintain databases, tables, indexes, views, stored procedures, and other database objects.
- Optimize database performance by tuning queries, indexes, and server configurations.
- Scripting Knowledge specially on T-SQL & PowerShell will be added advantage.
- Strong command of SQL Migration On-prem to On-prem, On-Prem to Cloud services (AWS/AZURE IAAS/PAAS).
- Strong understanding of database backup and recovery, disaster recovery, and high availability solutions.



Ensure database availability and disaster recovery by implementing backup and recovery plans and performing regular backups and restores.
- Configure, manage & troubleshoot issue related to Replication(Snapshot & Transactional replication).
- Configure, manage & troubleshoot issue related to High availability technique like Always-On Availability technology.
- Strong knowledge in database security by managing user access, permissions, and authentication.
- Identify and resolve database-related issues and incidents by troubleshooting problems and performing root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application development and deployment.

Valuable to have: Basic/advance Knowledge in Snowflakes will be added advantage but not mandatory.
