We are hiring qualified and dedicated candidates for our Thermal Power Plant Operations & Maintenance Project located at Ennore, Chennai near Chennai Port.

This is a site-based industrial project opportunity for candidates willing to work in plant operational environments and rotational shifts.

Mechanical Engineer

Job Responsibilities

- Supervision and maintenance of cooling tower systems, pumps, pipelines, valves, and rotating equipment
- Monitoring preventive and breakdown maintenance activities
- Inspection of mechanical systems and reporting abnormalities
- Coordination with plant operations team during shutdown and maintenance works
- Ensuring adherence to plant safety procedures and operational standards

Qualification

- Diploma / B.Tech / BE in Mechanical Engineering

Preferred

- Experience in Thermal Power Plant / Industrial Plant operations

? Location: Chennai – Ennore (Near Chennai Port)

? Work Environment:

- Thermal Power Plant & Cooling Tower Site Operations
- Industrial field work setting
- Not an office-based job





? Shift Structure:
- Morning / Evening / Night Shifts
- 9 to 12 Hours Duty based on operational requirements
- 30 Days working
- Weekly off basis

? Accommodation:
- Company accommodation provided near Athippattu Railway Station
- Transportation from accommodation/railway station to plant provided by company

? Food Facility:
- Subsidized food facility available at BHEL Canteen

? Salary:
- Up to ₹24,000 during probation period
- Up to ₹30,000 after successful completion of probation
- Salary based on qualification, experience, and current CTC

? Employment Type:
- Contract Basis (Renewable based on performance and project requirements)
