Experience: Minimum 7 years of supervisory experience** Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Manager – US Taxation (Chat) to manage a team providing real-time customer support for U.S. taxation-related queries. The candidate should have strong U.S. individual taxation expertise combined with excellent people-management, customer-handling, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities Manage and supervise a team of U.S. tax chat support professionals.

Provide technical guidance on U.S. individual taxation matters.

Handle escalated and complex customer tax queries.

Ensure accurate and timely responses through the live chat channel.

Review and monitor customer interactions for quality and accuracy.

Support queries related to Form 1040, 1040-NR, and 1040-SR.

Monitor team productivity, quality, customer satisfaction, and turnaround time.

Coach and mentor team members to improve tax knowledge and customer-handling skills.

Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.

Identify recurring customer issues and recommend process improvements.





Coordinate with internal tax and operations teams for complex cases.

Ensure compliance with U.S. tax regulations and internal quality standards.

Support training, onboarding, and development of new team members.

Prepare operational reports and communicate team performance to senior management.

Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum 7 years of supervisory/management experience.

Strong hands-on experience in U.S. taxation.

Strong knowledge of U.S. individual tax returns.

Good understanding of Forms 1040, 1040-NR, and 1040-SR.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong customer-service and escalation-management skills.

Proven people-management and leadership abilities.

Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, real-time customer support environment.

Preferred Qualifications CPA / EA / CA certification preferred.

Prior experience in U.S. tax chat/customer support.

Experience managing customer-facing tax support teams.

Experience with U.S. tax preparation software is an advantage.
