Roles and Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, and maintain complex COBOL programs for mainframe systems using DB2 databases.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and implement solutions that meet customer needs.

- Troubleshoot issues related to program execution, data processing, and system performance on mainframes.

- Develop technical documentation for code changes, bug fixes, and recent features.

Job Requirements :

- 6-10 years of experience in developing COBOL applications for mainframes (AS400) with expertise in DB2 database management.

- Strong understanding of JCL (Job Control Language) for job scheduling and batch processing on mainframes.

- Experience working with IBM Mainframe platforms such as System z Series or similar technology stacks.
