Assist faculty members in conducting undergraduate and postgraduate physics laboratory sessions.

Prepare laboratory equipment, instruments, materials, and experiments before practical classes.

Demonstrate the correct use of laboratory equipment and ensure students follow standard laboratory procedures.

Maintain laboratory equipment through regular inspection, calibration, and preventive maintenance.
n
Ensure adherence to laboratory safety protocols and maintain a safe working workplace.
n
Assist in conducting experiments, troubleshooting equipment, and supporting students during practical sessions.
n
Maintain laboratory inventory, stock registers, and records of consumables and equipment.
n
Coordinate with faculty for procurement of laboratory equipment and consumables.
n
Support laboratory setup for internal assessments, practical examinations, workshops, and research activities.
n
Ensure cleanliness, organization, and proper documentation of the laboratory.
n
Perform any other academic or administrative responsibilities assigned by the Head of the Department.

Qualifications

B.Tech. in Physics or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university.
n
Candidates with relevant certifications or laboratory training will have an added advantage.

Experience

0–1 year of experience in handling physics laboratories, laboratory operations, or academic institutions.

Fresh graduates with robust practical knowledge of physics laboratory equipment are encouraged to apply.
