About the Role

We're looking for a Lead Full-Stack Engineer with 10+ years of experience who can code, architect, and manage a team. You will work across the full Ucentrics platform — a multi-tenant, event-driven TypeScript monorepo (Next.js, Fastify, Node.js, MongoDB/Cosmos, Azure) — as a hands-on leader: shipping features, making architectural decisions, reviewing code and owning CI/CD, supporting production, documenting process, and engaging clients and stakeholders.

You will lead engineers day to day (planning, coaching, reviews, delivery, hiring input) while remaining a strong individual contributor on both frontend and backend. Immediate joiners or candidates who can join within 15 days will be highly preferred.

What You'll Do

Lead a cross-functional engineering team: sprint planning, allocation, coaching, performance feedback, unblocking, and delivery accountability.

Remain a hands-on individual contributor across frontend and backend — design, implement, and ship production code, not only review others' work.

Own architectural decisions for Domain-Driven Design, multi-tenancy (database-per-tenant, tenant-scoped storage, B2C/RBAC isolation), and event-driven flows (domain events, Azure Queues, Azure Functions, Web PubSub).

Conduct thorough code reviews for correctness, tenant isolation, event contracts, type safety, tests, and maintainability; raise the team's bar through review and pairing.

Design, implement, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (Terraform on Azure) and environment parity across Dev, QA, STG, and Production (App Service, Function Apps, ACR, Storage, Key Vault, identity, networking, slots).

Build and maintain CI/CD using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions; own Docker images, deploy/rollback, quality gates, and container scanning.

Implement new features end to end: Next.js App Router UI, Fastify APIs, Mongoose/Mongo models, async jobs, realtime notifications, and shared packages.

Provide maintenance and production support: incidents, performance, stuck queues/jobs,



auth/tenant issues, observability, and reliability improvements.

Write and maintain process and architecture documentation (ADRs, runbooks, onboarding, coding standards, release process).

Own client communications: requirements clarification, technical Q&A;, risk and trade-off explanation, and delivery status.

Lead stakeholder reviews and demos with Product, QA, UI/UX, delivery, and clients; convert feedback into tickets, designs, and process changes.

Give and receive structured feedback (reviews, retros, 1:1s); hire and grow engineers; collaborate daily with Product, QA, DevOps, and design.

Troubleshoot production issues, optimize application and pipeline performance, and improve system reliability and security.

What We're Looking For

10+ years of professional software development building full-stack web applications, with proven experience coding, architecting, and managing engineers.

Demonstrated people leadership: running a team, reviews, coaching, delivery ownership, and stakeholder management — while still writing production code.

Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript, React, Next.js (App Router), and Node.js on both UI and API in roughly equal measure.

Strong experience with multi-tenant systems: tenant isolation at database, blob/object storage, authz, and background jobs; no cross-tenant leakage.

Solid experience with event-driven architecture: domain events, message queues, workers/functions, idempotency, DLQ, and realtime fan-out.

Strong experience with MongoDB (or Cosmos DB Mongo API), schema/index design, and Mongoose (or equivalent ODM).

Hands-on experience deploying and operating applications on Microsoft Azure (App Service, Function Apps, ACR, Blob, Queue, Key Vault, Application Insights).





Experience with Azure AD B2C / MSAL, OAuth, JWT, RBAC.

Experience with Terraform (or equivalent IaC) and Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions for CI/CD.

Strong understanding of REST APIs, Domain-Driven Design / clean architecture, and TypeScript-first contracts from API to UI.

Experience with Docker and containerized deployment.

Excellent communication with clients and non-engineering stakeholders; able to run reviews, document decisions, and turn feedback into execution.

Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.

Candidates who can join immediately or within 15 days will be highly preferred.
