Key Responsibilities

Lead end to end BIS compliance and product certification activities.
n
Own product registration, testing, certification, BIS marking, renewal and surveillance requirements.
n
Drive documentation, testing and final registration for BIS certification.
n
Coordinate with BIS authorities, testing laboratories, certification agencies and relevant government departments.
n
Manage DPIIT-related certification and compliance requirements.
n
Monitor changes in GoI regulations and assess their impact on company products.
n
Ensure compliance at warehouse and import level as per applicable GoI rules.
n
Maintain product compliance trackers, certificates, test reports and regulatory documentation.
n
Manage regulatory audits and ensure timely closure of observations.
n
Coordinate with business, product, supply chain, service and other internal stakeholders.
n




Guide recent product launches/configurations from a regulatory compliance perspective.
n
Support E-waste and Plastic Waste/EPR compliance wherever applicable.
n
Liaise with industry associations and relevant government bodies.
n
Identify compliance risks and proactively recommend corrective/preventive actions.
n
Representing BIN at various Industry Association (CII/FICCI/MAIT, etc).
n
