Role Description This is a full-time remote Journalism Intern role.

The Journalism

Intern will support content creation by researching current events, cultural trends, and stories relevant to Gen Z audiences, and transforming findings into compelling news-style articles and features. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting and refining press releases,



assisting with news writing for digital platforms, and collaborating with content, marketing, and tech teams to align stories with Zenithindia’s brand voice and objectives. The intern will help monitor media coverage, track audience reactions, and suggest story angles that connect culture, technology, and community.

The role also involves maintaining editorial calendars, participating in virtual meetings, and incorporating feedback from editors and stakeholders to improve journalistic output.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Writing and News Writing skills to develop clear, engaging stories tailored to digital Gen Z audiences.
- Candidates should possess solid Research skills to identify, verify, and synthesize information from diverse sources.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and conduct interviews when needed.
- Candidates should possess skills in drafting and formatting Press Releases for internal and external distribution.
- Interest in digital culture, social media trends, and technology-driven storytelling.
- Strong command of written English and attention to detail in grammar, structure, and tone.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of a program in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or a related field is preferred.
