Function: Global Investigations

Location: Goregaon, Mumbai

Work Arrangement: Work from Office

Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience

Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) or LLB

Role Purpose The Manager – Investigations will support and independently handle forensic and internal investigations involving allegations of misconduct, fraud, conflict of interest, policy violations and other integrity-related concerns.

The role requires strong hands-on capabilities in electronic evidence review, email and e-document analysis, custodian interviews, data analytics and investigation documentation . The incumbent should be comfortable working with large volumes of information, identifying relevant facts and patterns, and presenting findings in a clear, objective and evidence-based manner.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct and support forensic and internal investigations into allegations of fraud, misconduct, conflict of interest, policy violations and other matters assigned by the Investigations function.
- Perform hands-on review and analysis of emails, electronic documents and other digital records relevant to investigations.
- Use Intella or similar eDiscovery/e-document review tools for processing, searching, filtering, reviewing and analysing electronic evidence.
- Develop appropriate keywords, search terms, timelines and review methodologies to identify relevant communications and documents.
- Conduct custodian and witness interviews for fact-finding, clarification and corroboration of evidence.
- Prepare interview questionnaires, document interview observations and appropriately assess inconsistencies or gaps in information.
- Perform data analysis using Microsoft Excel , including analysis of large datasets, transaction trends, exceptions, relationships and other investigative indicators.
- Correlate information obtained from emails, documents, interviews,



transaction data and other sources to establish chronology and facts.
- Maintain appropriate investigation documentation, evidence records, working papers and case files.
- Prepare clear, concise and factual investigation reports, case summaries and presentations for management and relevant stakeholders.
- Use Microsoft PowerPoint and Word for preparation of investigation presentations, reports, timelines and supporting documentation.
- Coordinate with relevant internal stakeholders such as Compliance, Legal, Human Resources, Finance, Internal Audit, IT and Business teams, as required.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with a high degree of professionalism, discretion and integrity .
- Support identification of root causes, control gaps and potential remediation measures arising from investigations.
- Assist in monitoring closure of investigation-related corrective and preventive actions, where applicable.

Qualification & Experience

Essential

- Chartered Accountant (CA) or LLB from a recognised institution.
- Additionally Certified Fraud Examiner is a plus but not a barrier.
- Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in forensic investigations, corporate investigations, fraud investigations or forensic advisory .
- Demonstrable experience in email and electronic document review as part of investigations.
- Hands-on working knowledge of Intella ; exposure to other eDiscovery or forensic review platforms would be an advantage.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office , particularly:
- Microsoft Excel – data analysis, PivotTables, lookups, filters and analytical techniques




- Microsoft Power Point – investigation reports, presentations and management reporting
- Microsoft Word – investigation reports and documentation
- Experience in conducting or participating in fact-finding / investigative interviews .
- Ability to analyse information from multiple sources and develop a logical, evidence-based understanding of events.

Preferred * Prior experience in the Pharmaceutical / Healthcare / Life Sciences industry .

- Exposure to investigations involving areas such as procurement, third parties, employee misconduct, financial irregularities, conflicts of interest, compliance or ethics matters.
- Exposure to forensic data analytics or other eDiscovery / investigation technology platforms.

We are looking for a hands-on investigator who enjoys getting into the details, reviewing emails and documents, analysing data, interviewing individuals, connecting disparate pieces of evidence and developing a clear factual narrative.

The candidate should demonstrate curiosity, professional scepticism, sound judgement and discretion , with the ability to remain objective and evidence-driven throughout the investigation process.
