About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced GFC Draftsman – Architecture & Construction to support the technical documentation and execution of our residential developments in East Bengaluru.

The role will primarily involve preparing, updating, and coordinating Good for Construction (GFC) drawings and technical documentation based on architectural and engineering inputs.





The ideal candidate should have strong AutoCAD skills, a good understanding of architectural construction drawings, and the ability to translate design information into accurate, clear, and execution-ready drawings.

Key Responsibilities

GFC & Technical Drawings

- Prepare accurate and detailed Good for Construction (GFC) drawings for residential construction.
- Develop architectural working drawings including plans, elevations, sections, details, and enlarged drawings.
- Prepare detailed drawings based on architectural designs, consultant drawings, and site requirements.
- Incorporate revisions and updates into drawings based on design changes and site conditions.
- Ensure drawings are clear, coordinated, dimensionally accurate, and suitable for site execution.

Drawing Coordination
- Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, MEP, landscape, and other consultant inputs.
- Identify discrepancies and clashes between drawings and highlight them to the relevant design or project team.
- Maintain drawing revisions, drawing registers, and documentation as required.
- Ensure that the latest approved drawings are issued for construction.

Site Coordination
- Coordinate with the project and site teams to understand execution requirements.
- Participate in site visits when required to verify dimensions, conditions, and construction progress.
- Incorporate approved site changes and design modifications into relevant drawings.
- Assist in resolving drawing-related queries raised by the site team.

Documentation & Execution Support
- Prepare construction details and drawings required by contractors and site teams.




- Support the architecture and project teams with technical documentation throughout the construction process.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date drawing files and documentation.
- Ensure drawings are issued within agreed timelines and follow the required drawing standards.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 3–6 years of relevant experience as an AutoCAD Draftsman / Architectural Draftsman / GFC Draftsman.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD
- Proven experience preparing GFC and construction drawings
- Good understanding of architectural construction and detailing.
- Experience working on residential projects is strongly preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
- Strong understanding of dimensions, levels, sections, materials, and construction details.
- Good attention to detail and drawing accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with architects, consultants, contractors, and site teams.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with Revit or other BIM software.
- Experience working with multidisciplinary consultant drawings.
- Experience in residential apartment developments.
- Familiarity with construction documentation and drawing standards.
- Basic knowledge of architectural detailing and construction methods.
