Looking for a Senior Accounting professional for a tech platform in Mumbai!

Responsibilities

1. Stakeholder Management

o Act as the primary finance point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on financial processes and requirements.

o Manage vendor, auditor, and consultant interactions with professionalism and timely responses.

1. Revenue Coordination

o Oversee revenue recognition, billing processes, and reconciliation. o Ensure timely invoicing, follow-up on collections, and address revenue leakages.

o Coordinate with KAM and Ops team to validate revenue inputs and ensure accuracy in reporting.

1. Review of Books & Financial Reporting

o Review monthly books of accounts and ensure timely month-end close. o Analyse financial statements and highlight variances, risks, and business insights.

o Ensure accuracy in accounting entries in line with applicable standards.

1. Policy Development & Process Improvement

o Draft, review, and implement finance-related policies, SOPs, and internal controls. o Drive process automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
1. Audit (Internal & Statutory)

o Lead internal, statutory, and compliance audits end-to-end. o Provide necessary documentation, resolve queries,



and ensure timely closure of audit issues.

o Ensure audit-readiness throughout the year.

1. Compliance & Governance

o Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including GST, TDS, Income Tax, Companies Act, and other regulatory mandates. o Timely filing of returns, payments, and coordination with consultants.

o Maintain solid governance and adherence to corporate policies.

1. Additional Responsibilities

o Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities. o Assist management in decision-making through data-driven insights.

o Handle multiple projects simultaneously and deliver within timelines.

Job Qualifications o Inter CA/CA with 6+ years of relevant experience. Any other PG is also considered.

o Strong understanding of accounting standards, compliance, and audit requirements.

o Excellent multitasking, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

o Proficiency in Excel, financial systems, and automation tools.

o Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high ownership.

o Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines o Experience in the legal/financial services/insurance industry is preferred.
