We are seeking a senior Part-Time Engineering Manager with deep cloud expertise (AWS/Azure) and practical GenAI execution knowledge. You will serve as our high-level technical authority and client advocate—steering Cloud/AI architectural reviews, leading client FSD/SRS management calls, and coaching Project Managers on Scrum delivery.

Responsibilities

- Evaluate software architecture, infrastructure security, and performance across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Audit cloud hosting setups to ensure cost-efficiency (FinOps), high availability, and modern DevOps/CI-CD standards.
- Guide project teams on embedding up-to-date AI capabilities (LLM integration, RAG pipelines, OpenAI/Bedrock APIs) into custom client solutions.
- Ensure AI features outlined in client proposals are technically feasible and cost-predictable.
- Participate in technical discovery calls with enterprise clients.




- Translate complex business needs into clear Functional Software Design (FSD) documents and Software Requirements Specifications (SRS).
- Partner with internal Project Managers to refine Scrum workflows, validate technical backlogs, review effort estimations, and maintain team velocity.

Requirements

- 10+ years in software development
- 3+ years in Technical Leadership / Engineering Management in consulting or agency environments
- Strong hands-on proficiency with AWS, Azure, or GCP (Serverless, Containerization, Kubernetes, Cloud Cost Optimization)
- Experience integrating LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, AWS Bedrock), vector databases, or AI orchestration tools (LangChain, LlamaIndex)
- Demonstrated success writing technical documentation (FSD/SRS) and enforcing Scrum standards alongside PMs.
