Job Responsibilities:

- Analyze patients medical history medication allergiesphysical conditiod examination results to verify operations necessity and to determine best procedure.

- Examine patients to obtain information on medical condition and surgical risk.

- Refer patients to medical specialist or other practitioners when necessary.

- Prepare case histories.

- Provide consultation and surgical assistance to other physicians and surgeons.

- Operate on patients to correct deformitiesrepair injuriesprevent and treat diseasesor improve or restore patients functions.

- Follow established surgical techniques during the operation.

- Prescribe preoperative and postoperative treatments and proceduressuch as sedatives dietsantibiotics and preparation and treatment of the patients operative area.

- Diagnose bodily disorders and orthopedic conditions and provide treatmentssuch as medicines and surgeriesin clinicshospital wardsand operating rooms.

- Examine instrumentsequipment and operating room to ensure sterility.

- Manage surgery services including planning scheduling and coordinationdetermination of proceduresand procurement of supplies and equipment.

- Direct and coordinate activities of nurses assistants specialistsresidents and other medical staff.





- Ensure safe and complete surgical removal of cancer following well establishment principles.

- Lead or be part of a team of surgeons to provide complete surgical care of cancer patients.

- Promote academic workplace with regular teaching programs.

- Work with other specialties of oncology within frames of the board for better patients management.

- The clinical responsibilities are undertaken with in the limits of competence in Surgical Oncology.

- Clinical work is restricted to the domain of Surgical Oncology.

- Privileges are applied while taking into consideration the scope & support service available in the hospital.

- Queries arisingif anyin exercise the privileges should invariably be referred to the FD/MS before its execution.

- To be responsible for comprehensive patients care which includes medical documentation & follow up of patientsunder care.

- To practice respective speciallyethically in the best traditions of the professiondischarge duties with utmost dedicationdevotion and to endeavor in setting the highest standard of patients care.
