Job Requirements*

Cloud DevOps Engineer specializing in Oracle EBS on GCP, you will be a key driver of our DevOps transformation. You will leverage your expertise in cloud platforms, automation, CI/CD, and monitoring to create seamless pipelines for infrastructure provisioning, application deployment, testing, and operational management of Oracle EBS on GCP. Your work will directly enhance our ability to deliver high-quality, stable, and performant enterprise applications efficiently.

- 6+ years of experience in IT, with at least 4 years focused on DevOps engineering roles in a cloud workplace.

- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and DevOps toolchains.

- Extensive experience in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines.

- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, Go) and experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Cloud Deployment Manager).

- Familiarity with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) architecture, deployment considerations, and operational requirements.

- Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef) is highly desirable.

- Strong understanding of cloud networking, compute, storage, and database concepts on GCP.

- Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting platforms (GCP Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging).

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

- GCP Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer or Professional Cloud Architect certification is highly desirable.





- Good to have experience in using GCP Fast Fabric

Key Responsibilities*

Responsibilities:

- CI/CD Pipeline Design and Implementation:

- Design, build, and maintain robust and scalable CI/CD pipelines (e.g., using Cloud Build, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD) for automated build, test, and deployment of Oracle EBS applications and related cloud infrastructure on GCP.

- Implement automated quality gates and integrate various testing phases (unit, integration, performance, security) into the pipelines.

- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration Management:

- Develop, manage, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates and modules using tools like Terraform or Cloud Deployment Manager for consistent and repeatable provisioning of GCP resources.

- Implement configuration management solutions (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef) to automate the setup and configuration of Oracle EBS application servers and databases on GCP.

- Automation and Scripting:

- Develop and maintain automation scripts (e.g., Python, Bash, Go) for various DevOps tasks, including environment provisioning, application deployments, data refreshes, and operational runbooks.





- Automate routine operational tasks to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency.

- Monitoring, Logging, and Alerting:

- Design and implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using GCP Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, and Security Command Center.

- Configure dashboards and alerts to provide real-time visibility into system health, performance, and security of Oracle EBS on GCP.

- Automate incident response and remediation workflows.

- Release Management and Environment Strategy:

- Define and manage release strategies for Oracle EBS deployments on GCP, ensuring smooth and controlled rollouts.

- Manage and maintain various cloud environments (Dev, Test, UAT, Prod) for the Oracle ISV Validation Factory, ensuring consistency and proper configuration.

- Collaboration and DevOps Culture:

- Collaborate closely with Solution Architects, Cloud Infrastructure Engineers, Oracle DBAs, Development teams, and Quality Assurance teams.

- Champion DevOps principles and best practices, including continuous integration, continuous delivery, automated testing, and blameless post-mortems.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members on DevOps tools and processes.

- Performance and Cost Optimization:

- Identify opportunities to optimize the performance and cost-efficiency of Oracle EBS applications and their underlying GCP infrastructure through automation and architectural improvements.

- Implement autoscaling and resource management strategies
