About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Associate - DevOps Engineer with 3-6 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, application deployment, production support, and infrastructure management. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in CI/CD, Linux environments, application servers, databases, and troubleshooting production issues. Experience in the FinTech/Payments domain will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Configure, deploy, and maintain applications across Development, UAT, and Production environments.
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and Jenkins .
- Perform production deployments, hotfixes, and application updates with minimal downtime.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and provide timely resolutions.
- Provide Level 2 production support and ensure system availability.
- Configure and manage application components including Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, Redis, Nginx, Cassandra , and related technologies.
- Monitor API performance using tools such as Kibana and ensure timely issue resolution.
- Work with databases such as PostgreSQL, HSQL, Cassandra , or equivalent for troubleshooting and validation.
- Collaborate with Product, Development, Operations, and Support teams to ensure smooth application delivery.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and manage tasks using Azure DevOps, JIRA, Slack , or similar collaboration tools.
- Ensure adherence to deployment standards, security guidelines, and operational best practices.
- Support infrastructure optimization, performance tuning, and continuous improvement initiatives.





Required Skills
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Production Support, or Platform Engineering .
- Experience with Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, and Redis .
- Strong experience with GitHub and Jenkins .
- Good understanding of application architecture and technology stacks.
- Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix environments.
- Experience with Nginx, Apache , or other web/application servers.
- Good understanding of networking fundamentals and system connectivity.
- Experience working with databases such as PostgreSQL, HSQL, or Cassandra .
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills.
- Experience monitoring APIs using Kibana or similar monitoring tools.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, and Slack .
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have
- Experience in FinTech or Digital Payments domain.
- Understanding of payment platforms, transaction processing, and payment ecosystem.
- Exposure to Elasticsearch .
- Knowledge of emerging technologies such as Blockchain, AI, and Machine Learning .
- Experience working on large-scale payment platforms or enterprise applications.

Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) or Masters Degree (M.Sc./MCA) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Applications, or a related discipline.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
