: Data Infrastructure Engineer

We are looking for a Data Infrastructure Engineer who can ensure the stability, availability, performance, and efficient resource utilization of the production database and storage stack, while strengthening operational readiness through monitoring, automation, benchmarking, and disaster recovery practices. This role will be part of the centralized data team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Administer, maintain, and optimize self-hosted data warehouse and MinIO environments
- Monitor database health, availability, performance, and resource utilization to ensure production stability
- Build and support monitoring, alerting, and operational dashboards for database and storage systems
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in databases, storage, and related infrastructure components
- Own disaster recovery planning, backup/restore processes, and failover readiness
- Develop and maintain automated scripts and tooling for benchmarking, validation, and operational tasks
- Work closely with data, engineering, and infrastructure stakeholders to improve reliability and delivery
- Support production incidents and drive root-cause analysis and preventive actions
- Maintain documentation for operational procedures, runbooks, and system configurations





Required Qualifications

- Experience in Linux system administration
- Strong SQL knowledge and understanding of data modelling concepts • Practical Python scripting skills for automation and tooling
- Experience with observability tools and operational monitoring
- Hands-on experience supporting production systems with a focus on reliability and performance
- Strong troubleshooting skills across databases, infrastructure, and deployment pipelines
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of critical production systems

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with managing on premise data warehouse
- Experience with object storage platforms like MinIO/Ceph
- Experience with backup, restore, and disaster recovery planning
- Experience building benchmarking or load-testing automation
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code and containerized environments
