About the Role

At ZoroPe , we are building fast, seamless, and transparent financial solutions. We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Compliance Manager to oversee regulatory and operational compliance for our Payday Loans and Small-Ticket Personal Loan business.

In this role, you will be responsible for end-to end compliance across our digital lending ecosystem—ensuring that our digital platforms, Lending Service Providers (LSPs), collection partners, and customer-facing processes strictly align with applicable RBI guidelines, KYC/AML norms, and internal governance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

- Regulatory & Digital Lending Governance: Ensure strict adherence to RBI digital lending guidelines, NBFC regulations, and industry best practices across the complete loan journey (from onboarding to closure).
- LSP & Partner Compliance: Oversee and conduct periodic compliance reviews/audits of Lending Service Providers (LSPs), collection agencies, and outsourced vendors.
- Customer Journey & Disclosures: Review Key Fact Statements (KFS), loan agreements, interest pricing structures, and fee disclosures for transparency and regulatory compliance.
- KYC & AML Operations: Monitor customer verification, KYC/AML processes, and anti-fraud protocols.
- CIC & Credit Bureau Management: Ensure timely, accurate Credit Bureau (CIC) reporting and handle bureau-related customer discrepancy resolutions.
- Collections & Grievance Governance: Monitor collection practices, review customer communications (SMS, WhatsApp, Email, App Notifications, scripts), and ensure timely resolution of customer complaints per defined TATs.




- Audits & Control Frameworks: Maintain compliance trackers, draft/update SOPs and policies, conduct periodic testing, and track closure of internal/external audit observations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Risk, Legal, Operations, Credit, Tech, and Collections teams, and assist in regulatory inspections/audits.
- Reporting & Training: Prepare compliance dashboards for C-suite management and conduct regular compliance training for staff and partner networks.

What We Are Looking For

- Experience: 3–5 years in compliance within an NBFC, Fintech, or Consumer Lending environment. Prior experience in Payday Loans, Salary Advance, or Small-Ticket Short-Tenure Lending is highly preferred.
- Regulatory Expertise: Solid practical understanding of RBI Digital Lending Guidelines, KYC/AML norms, and Fair Practices Code (FPC).
- Execution Focus: A practical, hands-on professional who understands the operational speed of high-volume digital lending while maintaining robust risk controls.
- Skills: Excellent analytical ability, policy documentation skills, and clear cross-functional communication.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- CS, CA, LLB, MBA, or certified compliance qualifications will be a strong advantage.
