This opportunity is ideal for backend engineers with strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, and scalable backend systems who are interested in applying their real-world development knowledge to next-generation AI systems.

Selected professionals will use their backend engineering expertise to design, develop, review, debug, and optimize real-world software solutions while contributing high-quality technical knowledge that helps AI models improve their software engineering capabilities.

No prior AI experience is required. Your Java backend development expertise is what matters most.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Java and Spring Boot .
- Architect and implement robust microservices-based solutions for complex application requirements.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Review technical requirements and translate them into high-quality backend solutions.
- Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and production-quality Java code.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize backend systems.
- Identify opportunities to improve application performance, reliability, scalability, and security .
- Participate in code reviews and provide clear, constructive technical feedback.
- Review technical specifications, code, and proposed solutions for correctness and quality.
- Document technical processes, architecture decisions, and solutions using clear and concise written communication.




- Collaborate effectively with remote technical teams in a fast-paced setting.
- Contribute real-world backend engineering insights that help improve the quality of AI training and evaluation.

Required Qualifications
- Strong professional proficiency in Java .
- Hands-on backend development experience using Spring Boot .
- Robust knowledge of Microservices architecture and design principles .
- Solid understanding of REST APIs and backend integration patterns.
- Demonstrated ability to design and write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Understanding of data structures and backend software engineering best practices.
- Ability to review existing code and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Strong analytical and technical reasoning skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
