We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer to design, develop, and support the backend services powering a Financial Web Portal .

The platform will manage financial records, transactions, approvals, reporting, communications, governance workflows, and integrations with enterprise systems.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Node.js, TypeScript, API design and development, enterprise integrations, application security, workflow automation, and cloud-native application development .

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js and TypeScript .
- Build and support RESTful APIs and GraphQL services for portal functionality.
- Develop and manage executive onboarding, transaction, and approval workflows.
- Design backend services supporting financial registry and ownership management .
- Implement role-based access control (RBAC) and other security controls.
- Develop integrations with enterprise applications and third-party platforms.
- Build services for notifications, document management, and workflow automation.
- Support reporting and analytics integrations, including Power BI .
- Implement audit logging, monitoring, compliance, and governance requirements.
- Optimize backend application performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
- Work closely with frontend developers, solution architects, DevOps engineers, QA teams, and business analysts.
- Participate in deployments, troubleshooting, debugging, and production support.
- Contribute to technical discussions, architecture decisions, and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience
- Robust hands-on experience with Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript .
- Experience designing and developing REST APIs and GraphQL services .
- Strong understanding of API-first architecture .
- Experience working with relational databases such as:
- PostgreSQL
- SQL Server
- MySQL
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases, preferably MongoDB .
- Strong experience implementing authentication and authorization solutions.




- Good knowledge of:
- OAuth 2.0
- OpenID Connect
- JWT
- Single Sign-On (SSO)
- Experience designing and developing secure enterprise applications.
- Experience with workflow-based and approval-driven systems.
- Understanding of event-driven architecture and asynchronous processing .
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices .
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills
- Experience building financial, investor, registry, or governance platforms .
- Experience integrating applications and services with Power BI .
- Experience implementing or integrating document management systems .
- Knowledge of audit logging, governance, and compliance frameworks.
- Experience with cloud platforms and serverless technologies, such as:
- Azure Services
- Azure Functions
- AWS Serverless Solutions
- Familiarity with workflow engines and business process automation tools.

- Experience with messaging and event-streaming platforms such as:

Collaboration & Meeting Requirements The selected candidate will be expected to participate in the following project discussions:
- Daily DSM Call: Approximately 1.5 hours at 10:30 AM IST
- Refinement Calls: Every Monday and Wednesday from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM IST
- The candidate should be flexible with working hours, as the shift may extend based on project requirements and implementation activities.

Ideal Candidate We are looking for a highly experienced backend developer who can independently design and build secure, scalable, enterprise-grade backend services. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Node.js, TypeScript, API development, authentication and authorization, enterprise integrations, workflow automation, and cloud-native technologies .

Candidates with experience in financial platforms, governance systems, registry applications, or other enterprise workflow-driven applications will be highly preferred.
