- Design, develop, and implement enterprise APIs following API-first and integration best practices.

- Create and manage API proxies, policies, mediation flows, and integrations with enterprise backend services.

- Develop and configure API transformations using JavaScript, XSLT, Java, Groovy, or equivalent technologies.

- Implement API security using OAuth2, JWT, API Keys, Mutual TLS (mTLS), OpenID Connect, and other industry-standard security protocols.

- Design and implement RESTful APIs, reusable services, and API governance frameworks.

- Develop and manage API lifecycle processes including versioning, publishing, documentation, and decommissioning.

- Integrate APIs with internal applications, third-party systems, cloud services, and enterprise platforms.

- Establish and manage CI/CD pipelines for API development, testing, and deployment using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions.

- Automate deployment, configuration, and release processes using Infrastructure as Code and DevOps best practices.

- Monitor API performance, availability, and reliability while ensuring operational excellence.

- Collaborate with solution architects, application teams, DevOps engineers and business stakeholders to deliver integration solutions.

- Provide technical leadership, documentation, and support for API consumers and development teams.

Required Skills & Expertise

- 5+ years of experience in API Development & Integration.





- Robust experience in designing and developing REST APIs and enterprise integration solutions.

- Expertise in API security technologies including OAuth2, JWT, API Keys, OpenID Connect, TLS, and Mutual TLS.

- Hands-on experience with API policies, mediation, routing, transformations, and API lifecycle management.

- Proficiency in JavaScript, Java, XSLT, Groovy, or similar integration and transformation technologies.

- Strong understanding of HTTP/HTTPS protocols, REST architecture, API governance and integration patterns.

- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.

- Experience with Git-based source control and DevOps methodologies.

- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and performance optimization skills.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

- Hands-on experience with Axway API Gateway (v7 or Amplify) & API Management platforms.

- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native deployment architectures.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.

- Experience with Terraform, Helm, Ansible, or other Infrastructure as Code tools.

- Knowledge of API analytics, monitoring, and observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, or equivalent.

- Experience with event-driven architecture and messaging platforms.

- Understanding of enterprise security, governance, and compliance frameworks.

- API Management, Cloud, Kubernetes, or DevOps certifications.
