About The Role As a Presales Engineer (Android) at Wiseasy, based in India, you will play a crucial role in driving the adoption of our innovative payment solutions across the region. This is a client-facing role where you will support customers and business partners — including resellers, distributors, and system integrators — by developing demo applications and Proof of Concept (PoC) solutions using Android SDK resources, tools, and technical expertise to effectively promote, sell, and support our products and services.

The primary goal is to strengthen our customer and partner ecosystem and drive mutual success. This role requires approximately 15–20% travel within India and potentially across the APAC region.

Qualifications Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A minimum of 2–3 years of experience in Android development or a technical support role,



preferably within fintech or the card-present transaction domain, is essential.

Prior experience with Android POS terminals, payment gateways, and EMV specifications will be considered a significant advantage. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Kotlin, or Flutter, along with hands-on experience using Android Studio or similar IDEs, is required. Familiarity with India's payments ecosystem, including UPI, NPCI, RuPay, and Aadhaar-based authentication, is highly desirable.

Applicants should demonstrate strong technical acumen with the ability to independently troubleshoot software issues. Excellent communication skills in English are mandatory, and proficiency in Hindi or other regional languages of India will be advantageous. Knowledge of Mandarin will also be considered a plus.

The ideal candidate should thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural, and multilingual environment, managing multiple tasks efficiently while exhibiting strong interpersonal skills to foster long-term customer relationships.

- Collaborate with the Sales team to identify new business opportunities and drive customer acquisition across the Indian market.
- Engage with customers and business partners to understand their technical requirements and propose suitable solutions.
- Develop demonstration applications to validate customer-specific proof of concepts.




- Ensure seamless integration of our SDKs and APIs into clients' applications by analyzing logs and technical documentation.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate customers on our products and solutions.
- Troubleshoot technical issues efficiently and provide timely resolutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on India's digital payments landscape, including UPI, RuPay, and regulatory frameworks such as RBI guidelines, to contextualize Wiseasy solutions effectively for local clients.
