Description Deutsche Bank is hiring an AI Full Stack Engineer for its technology team. The role focuses on building AI-powered applications, semantic search capabilities, and production-ready solutions in a collaborative, agile environment.

Role: AI Full Stack Engineer

Location: Pune; Bangalore, India

Experience

- 5+ years of experience in an AI Engineer role
- Strong proficiency in Python
- Hands-on experience with Google VertexAI
- Experience working with and fine-tuning LLMs, particularly the Gemini Model
- Strong experience in front-end technologies, especially React JS
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization of large applications, including Oracle databases
- Hands-on experience with unit testing frameworks and automated testing tools
- Experience with Docker, OpenShift, or Kubernetes for containerized deployments
- Strong understanding of authentication and authorization concepts, OAUTH2, Spring security, and API Management
- Experience with cloud native hosting resources such as OpenShift, GCP GKE, Cloud Run Functions, and Networking VPCs
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Gradle, Maven, and GitHub Actions
- Basic understanding of Unix/Linux commands
- Good understanding of Swagger and JSON

Qualification

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering or relevant technology and science




- Technology certifications from any industry leading cloud providers

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and implement AI-powered applications and services using Python, FastAPI/Flask, and Google VertexAI
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and DevOps to deliver high-quality solutions
- Develop and maintain semantic search capabilities using retrieval-augmented approaches for enterprise documents
- Enable contextual and accurate information retrieval from unstructured data sources
- Adhere to and promote best practices and standards
- Drive code reviews, coding standards, and mentoring of junior members
- Collaborate closely with team members, QA, and product partners to deliver agreed features
- Support CI/CD pipelines and follow DevOps best practices
- Ensure solutions comply with security, risk, and compliance requirements
- Document code, technical designs, and operational procedures where required

Additional Responsibilities

- Engineer responsible for managing or performing work across multiple areas of the bank's overall IT platform/infrastructure, including analysis, development, and administration
- Translate requirements into technical solutions
- Communicate effectively within and outside the team




- Help team members and serve as a role model
- Potential exposure to team leadership
