Role & responsibilities

- Maintain day-to-day accounting records and bookkeeping.

- Pass accounting entries and maintain ledgers, vouchers and supporting documents.

- Handle GST compliance including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, reconciliation and basic GST workings.

- Bank reconciliation and reconciliation of debtors/creditors.

- Assist in preparation and finalisation of financial statements.

- Work on Tally Prime/ERP and MS Excel.

- Assist in preparation of data for Income Tax Returns, Tax Audit and other statutory compliances.

- Coordinate with clients for collection of accounting, GST, TDS and other financial information.

- Identify accounting discrepancies and resolve reconciliation issues.

- Maintain proper documentation and records for audit and compliance purposes.

- Ensure timely completion of assigned accounting and taxation work.

- Coordinate with senior accountants,



CAs and the client servicing team.

Preferred candidate profile

- Qualification: B.Com/M.Com; CA Inter/CA Final candidates will be preferred.

- Experience: 15 years in accounting, taxation or CA firm environment.

- Good practical knowledge of Tally Prime/ERP and MS Excel.

- Working knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax and basic accounting principles.

- Experience in handling multiple clients will be an advantage.

- Good communication and client-handling skills.

- Robust attention to detail and accuracy.

- Ability to work independently and meet compliance deadlines.

- Candidates with experience in a CA firm, tax consultancy or accounting outsourcing firm will be preferred.
