Purpose of the Role

The Senior Secondary Teacher – Business Studies & Entrepreneurship is responsible for delivering engaging, concept-driven instruction to students of Grades XI & XII in accordance with the CBSE curriculum. The teacher will foster analytical thinking, entrepreneurial mindset, business ethics, financial literacy, innovation, and problem-solving skills while preparing students for Board examinations and future careers.

Key ResponsibilitiesAcademic Responsibilities

- Deliver Business Studies and Entrepreneurship lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum.
- Prepare annual curriculum plans, lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, and project work.
- Implement experiential, inquiry-based, and application-oriented learning methodologies.
- Integrate real-life business case studies, market trends, simulations, and entrepreneurial activities into classroom teaching.
- Prepare students for CBSE Board Examinations with structured revision plans, practice papers, and doubt-clearing sessions.
- Maintain high academic standards and ensure excellent student outcomes.

Student Development

- Develop students' leadership, communication, teamwork, and decision-making skills.
- Encourage innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurial thinking through projects and competitions.
- Mentor students for business plan presentations, entrepreneurship events, and commerce-related competitions.
- Guide students in career pathways related to Commerce, Management, Entrepreneurship, Economics, Finance, and Business.

Assessment & Evaluation

- Conduct periodic assessments, assignments, presentations,



practical activities, and projects.
- Evaluate answer scripts and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate academic records and student progress reports.
- Analyse assessment data to improve learning outcomes.

Classroom Management

- Create an engaging, inclusive, and student-centric learning environment.
- Promote discipline, respect, collaboration, and positive classroom culture.
- Ensure effective use of digital teaching resources and smart classroom technology.

Parent Engagement

- Participate in Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs).
- Communicate student progress and provide academic guidance to parents.
- Work collaboratively with parents to support student success.

School Responsibilities

- Participate in school assemblies, events, exhibitions, orientation programmes, and co-curricular activities.
- Support Commerce-related clubs, entrepreneurship cells, and industry interaction programmes.
- Contribute to curriculum enrichment and interdisciplinary learning initiatives.
- Attend professional development programmes, workshops, and training sessions.

Qualifications

- Master's Degree in Commerce (M.Com) / MBA / Master's in Business Administration or relevant discipline.
- B.Ed. (Mandatory)
- CTET/TET (Preferred)
- Additional certifications in Entrepreneurship, Finance, Business Analytics, or Digital Learning will be an advantage.

Experience





- Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience in Business Studies and Entrepreneurship at the Senior Secondary level.
- Experience teaching the CBSE curriculum for Grades XI & XII is preferred.
- Proven track record of excellent Board examination results will be an advantage.

Employment Type

Full-Time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
