We are seeking a highly disciplined, responsible, and authoritative Warden for our residential Maritime Training Institute located in Khopoli, Maharashtra. The Warden will be responsible for maintaining discipline, order, security, and adherence to institutional policies among cadets undergoing residential pre-sea training programs.

This is a fully residential role, requiring the incumbent to stay on campus and be available to oversee hostel operations, student conduct, and campus security round-the-clock. The position is particularly suited for personnel who possess strong leadership skills, a disciplined approach, and the ability to manage young cadets effectively.

1. Cadet Discipline & Conduct Management

- Ensure strict adherence to all institute rules, regulations, disciplinary standards, and code of conduct.
- Monitor cadet behaviour and maintain high standards of discipline in line with maritime training requirements.
- Enforce campus regulations and take corrective measures wherever disciplinary violations are observed.
- Counsel and guide cadets on matters relating to discipline, conduct, personal grooming, punctuality, and professionalism.
- Maintain records of disciplinary incidents and submit reports to management as required.
- Liaise with faculty, instructors, and administrative staff regarding cadet behaviour and discipline-related matters.

2. Hostel Administration & Residential Management

· Oversee day-to-day functioning of hostel facilities and residential accommodations.

· Ensure orderly allotment and occupancy of hostel rooms.

· Monitor cleanliness, upkeep, and maintenance of hostel premises.

· Address cadet concerns related to hostel facilities and escalated maintenance issues when required.

· Ensure compliance with hostel timings, attendance procedures, and residential regulations.

3. Night Rounds & Campus Vigilance

· Conduct regular and surprise rounds of hostel accommodations during late hours and nighttime.

· Ensure there are no unauthorized movements, breaches, misconduct,



or violations of hostel regulations.

· Monitor attendance and occupancy during designated hours.

· Report any incidents, emergencies, or security concerns immediately to management.

· Ensure cadets remain within authorized campus areas and comply with institute policies.

4. Security Supervision

- Supervise and coordinate activities of security personnel deployed across the campus.
- Ensure security guards perform their duties diligently and remain alert at assigned locations.
- Monitor security logs, attendance, and checkpoint records.
- Conduct regular inspections of security posts and campus entry/exit points.
- Coordinate with security agencies and management for maintaining a secure campus environment.
- Investigate and report any security violations, unauthorized access, or suspicious activities.

5. Safety & Emergency Preparedness

- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and emergency procedures.
- Act as the first line of response during emergencies occurring in hostel or residential areas.
- Coordinate evacuation procedures and emergency response activities when required.
- Maintain incident and emergency records.
- Support management during crisis situations, inspections, and audits.

6. Student Welfare & Mentorship

- Serve as a responsible mentor and guardian for cadets residing on campus.
- Provide guidance and support while maintaining discipline and authority.
- Address minor personal concerns of cadets and refer matters to appropriate authorities when necessary.
- Foster responsible behaviour, teamwork, integrity, and respect among cadets.

7. Administrative Responsibilities

- Maintain hostel occupancy records,



attendance records, disciplinary registers, and incident reports.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on discipline, security, and hostel operations.
- Coordinate with administration for implementation of policies and procedures.

Assist management during inspections, audits, parent visits, and official events.

Knowledge

Ø Retired Ex-Army JCO/Officer/NCO.

Ø Retired Police Officer/Sub-Inspector/Inspector.

Ø Retired Security Officer from defence or government organizations.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
