Our UK laboratory runs a *Waters Quattro tandem quadrupole LC-MS/MS with MassLynx. We are building our quantitative testing capability from the ground up and need a scientist who can **develop, optimise and validate LC-MS/MS methods from scratch* — not just run existing ones.

*The core job: method development*

- Build complete quantitative methods from a blank sheet: chromatography (column, mobile phases, gradient), MRM transitions, cone voltage and collision energy optimisation, dwell/cycle times, scheduled MRM

- Establish calibration curves, internal standards, LOD/LOQ, and QC acceptance criteria

- Validate methods to a defensible standard (linearity, precision, accuracy, recovery, matrix effects)

- Document everything into SOPs a trained operator can follow

*Compound classes*

- Steroid hormones and their esters (e.g. testosterone enanthate/cypionate), and peptides

- Serum/blood matrix experience is valuable





- Direct experience quantifying these compounds is ideal — but we'll also consider a strong method developer who can demonstrably work from published methods, application notes and pharmacopoeial monographs to build and adapt methods independently

*Also required*

- Hands-on operation of Waters tandem quads (Quattro Micro/Premier/Xevo TQ) and MassLynx/TargetLynx

- Sample preparation: protein precipitation, liquid-liquid extraction, SPE, derivatisation where needed

- Instrument maintenance and troubleshooting: source cleaning, tuning, resolving drift, noise and leaks

*Background that fits*

- Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Bioanalysis or similar

- Labs where steroid/peptide LC-MS/MS is routine: bioanalytical CROs, anti-doping, endocrine reference labs, pharma QC, toxicology

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
