About The Role
The Hex Fitness is looking for a professional, energetic, confident, and well-organized Receptionist who will be the first point of contact for our members and visitors.
This role is more than a traditional reception desk position. You will be the face of The Hex Fitness, helping members, handling enquiries and memberships, and supporting our social media presence through reels, stories, and engaging content.
Key ResponsibilitiesFront Desk & Member Experience
- Welcome members and guests with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Manage daily front-desk operations and member check-ins.
- Handle membership enquiries, registrations, renewals, upgrades, and cancellations.
- Explain membership plans, facilities, offers, and gym policies to prospective and existing members.
- Respond to phone calls, WhatsApp messages, Instagram enquiries, and walk-in enquiries.
- Maintain accurate member records and basic administrative documentation.
- Coordinate with trainers and management to resolve member concerns.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area.
Sales & Membership Support
- Convert walk-in and online enquiries into memberships.
- Follow up with prospective members and leads.
- Promote ongoing membership offers and upcoming facilities/events.
- Assist management in maintaining strong member relationships and retention.
Social Media & Content
- Video editing skills are a MUST.
- Create and edit short-form content such as Instagram Reels, Stories, and promotional videos.
- Be comfortable appearing in or helping create engaging gym-related content when required.
- Capture basic photos/videos of gym activities, events, members, and facilities.
- Assist in maintaining a consistent and engaging social media presence.
- Suggest creative content ideas relevant to fitness, lifestyle, and The Hex Fitness community.

- Good video editing skills – mandatory.
- Familiarity with Instagram Reels, Stories, and social media trends.

- Organized, punctual, responsible, and dependable.
- Customer-service oriented with a positive attitude.
- Previous experience in a gym, fitness centre, hospitality, sales, or front-desk role is an advantage.

Can greet a member professionally → handle an enquiry confidently → explain a membership clearly → create a good Reel → and keep the front desk organized — all in the same day.
