About the Role

Soni Productions is looking for an experienced Video Editor with strong hands-on experience in professional wedding and lifestyle video editing. The ideal candidate should have a strong creative sense, technical editing skills, and the ability to turn raw footage into polished, emotional and engaging films.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit professional Wedding, Pre-Wedding, Maternity, Newborn, Baby, Birthday, Family and Portfolio videos.
- Create Wedding Highlights, Teasers, Reels, Cinematic Films and Full-Length Wedding Films.
- Organize and manage large volumes of raw footage efficiently.
- Perform professional colour correction, colour grading, audio editing, transitions and visual effects.
- Select the best shots and create a strong flow, storytelling and emotional impact.
- Sync and edit footage according to music, speeches, dialogues and important moments.
- Create engaging social-media content such as Instagram Reels and short-form videos.
- Maintain consistent editing quality and follow the company's creative style.
- Coordinate with photographers, videographers and the creative team to understand project requirements.
- Manage multiple projects and deliver final videos within deadlines.




- Review final edits carefully to ensure there are no technical or quality issues before delivery.

Requirements

- Proven professional experience as a Video Editor.
- Strong hands-on experience in Wedding & Pre-Wedding Video Editing.
- Experience in Maternity, Newborn, Baby, Birthday, Family and Lifestyle video editing is preferred.
- Strong command of professional editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects or equivalent tools.
- Good understanding of colour grading, sound design, transitions, pacing and cinematic storytelling.
- Strong knowledge of different video formats, resolutions and export settings.
- Excellent sense of music selection, timing and visual storytelling.
- Ability to handle large projects, tight deadlines and multiple edits simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and consistency.
- Candidates with skilled photography studio/wedding production experience will be preferred.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates who are currently working or have strong recent professional experience as a Video Editor, particularly in the wedding photography/video industry, will be given preference.
