- Prepare and process inpatient and outpatient bills accurately.
- Generate bills for consultations, procedures, investigations, pharmacy, room charges, and other hospital services.
- Collect cash, card, UPI, and other authorized payments and issue receipts.
- Verify patient details, service charges, discounts, deposits, and refunds.
- Coordinate with insurance and TPA departments for billing requirements.
- Handle discharge billing and ensure all pending charges are captured before final billing.
- Maintain accurate billing records and daily transaction reports.
- Resolve billing-related queries and provide appropriate clarification to patients and attendants.
- Coordinate with concerned departments regarding missing or incorrect billing entries.
- Ensure compliance with hospital billing policies and procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient and financial information.
- Perform daily cash reconciliation and handover as per hospital procedures.
