About the Role

Lakshya Institute of Technology is looking for a dynamic and experienced Soft Skills Training – Assistant Manager / Manager to lead the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of soft skills, communication, behavioural and corporate-readiness programs for undergraduate students.

The role will focus on improving student employability, internship readiness and placement outcomes through structured training, experiential learning, mentoring and measurable readiness interventions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and manage semester-wise soft skills and corporate-readiness training plans.
- Deliver and facilitate training in:
- Communication & Spoken English
- Confidence & Presentation Skills
- Public Speaking
- Teamwork & Leadership
- Critical Thinking & Problem Solving
- Workplace Etiquette & Professional Behaviour
- Prepare students for resumes, LinkedIn profiles, Group Discussions, interviews, assessment centres and workplace expectations.
- Conduct baseline and periodic assessments to identify skill gaps and implement remedial or advanced learning interventions.
- Conduct experiential learning activities including role plays, mock interviews, presentations, debates, case discussions and business simulations.
- Coordinate industry workshops, HR interactions, recruiter mock interviews, mentoring sessions and alumni interactions.
- Manage external trainers and training partners, including monitoring training quality, attendance, student engagement and effectiveness.
- Maintain training MIS, dashboards and student-readiness indicators.
- Collaborate with Placement,



Corporate Relations and Academic teams to improve internship and placement conversion.

Candidate Profile

- 3–5 years of relevant experience in Soft Skills Training, Learning & Development, Campus Training, Employability or Corporate Training.
- MBA/PGDM or Master's degree in HR, English, Communication, Psychology, Education or a related field preferred.
- Robust skills in facilitation, public speaking, coaching, classroom management and stakeholder management.
- Excellent spoken and written English with the ability to engage and motivate undergraduate students from diverse backgrounds.
- Experience working with BSc, BCA, BTech, BBA or similar student cohorts will be an advantage.
