Senior Software Engineer – Backend (Golang / Cloud)

We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer – Backend (Golang) with strong experience building cloud-native, scalable, distributed systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, deploy, and operate scalable backend cloud services and distributed systems
- Own services across the complete lifecycle — design, development, deployment, monitoring, and production support
- Build reliable and highly available backend services using Golang
- Participate in and lead technical design discussions and code reviews
- Work with Kubernetes and cloud-native environments
- Troubleshoot complex production issues in distributed systems
- Collaborate with Product, QA, Mobile, and other engineering teams
- Leverage AI tools/agents across the SDLC for coding, testing, debugging, documentation, code reviews, and operational workflows
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers

Mandatory Skills

- 5+ years of skilled software development experience
- Strong hands-on development experience with Golang (Go)
- Production experience with Kubernetes
- Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture




- Experience designing/building distributed systems and microservices
- Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases
- Experience with event-driven architecture
- Experience supporting/troubleshooting applications in production

Preferred Skills

- Kafka, MQTT, or similar messaging technologies
- Designing APIs for high-availability and scalable systems
- AI-Native Software Engineering / hands-on experience using AI coding tools or agents
- React, TypeScript, or modern frontend development experience
- Experience mentoring junior engineers

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Ideal Candidate

We are particularly interested in engineers who have actually built and operated Golang services in production, rather than candidates with only theoretical or limited Go exposure.

Candidates with strong experience across Golang + Kubernetes + Distributed Systems + NoSQL + Event-Driven Architecture will be highly preferred.
