Job Description
Job Purpose: To manage and control day-to-day textile production and operational activities while achieving production, quality, delivery, manpower, productivity and cost objectives.
· Plan, organize and monitor daily textile production and operational activities.
· Prepare production schedules according to customer orders, production capacity, manpower and delivery requirements.
· Ensure achievement of daily, weekly and monthly production targets.
· Monitor production progress and take corrective action in case of delays or shortfalls.
· Ensure effective utilization of manpower, machinery, materials and other production resources.
· Allocate manpower according to production requirements and monitor employee productivity.
· Coordinate with Production, Merchandising, Stores, Quality, Maintenance, Packing and Dispatch departments.
· Ensure availability of required raw materials and production resources to avoid production interruptions.
· Monitor production efficiency, productivity, machine utilization, downtime, wastage, rejection and rework.
· Identify production bottlenecks, operational problems and process delays and ensure timely corrective action.
· Monitor product quality and coordinate with the Quality Department to control defects and rework.
· Coordinate with Maintenance to minimize machine breakdowns and production downtime.
· Monitor material consumption and control unnecessary wastage.
· Ensure timely completion of production orders according to committed delivery schedules.
· Conduct regular production review meetings with Department Heads and Supervisors.
· Prepare and review daily, weekly and monthly production and operational reports.




· Compare planned production against actual production and highlight major variances to management.
· Maintain proper production records, reports and operational documentation.
· Guide, supervise and motivate Department Heads, Supervisors, Operators and Helpers.
· Maintain discipline, attendance, productivity and proper work practices within production areas.
· Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, quality standards and safety procedures.
· Identify opportunities for process improvement, productivity enhancement and cost reduction.
· Report major production issues, manpower shortages, material shortages, quality problems and delivery risks to management.
· Support management in implementing operational improvements and achieving overall business objectives
Job Specification
· Education: Graduate / Diploma / Degree in Textile, Production, Operations, Engineering or a relevant field.
· Experience: Minimum 7-10+ years of relevant experience in textile manufacturing, production or operations, preferably in a supervisory/managerial position.
· Industry: Textile / Garment / Manufacturing / Production preferred.
· Technical Skills: Production planning, manpower planning, production monitoring, ERP/MIS**,** productivity analysis, quality control, wastage control, cost control and operational reporting.
Competencies: Leadership, decision-making, problem-solving, planning, communication, coordination, accountability, team management, time management and continuous improvement mindset.

Pay: Up to ₹55,000.00 per month
